Excellent quality, picked and dried the same day. These are a fruity mushroom that have a smell of apricots when fresh. They have a rich buttery flavor with a meat like texture, they are slightly chewy. Chanterelles are easy to cook with and a great alternative to common button mushrooms. They are great to use for gravy, sauces or pizza toppings.  This powder is not fine powder, it is coarsely ground.
